How it started
Opengro didn't start in a boardroom. It started in a classroom.
Our founder, Dylan Cromhout, started his career as a lecturer in business education. When his first cohort of students all failed their initial test, he refused to accept it as inevitable.
He approached the problem as a researcher, not a teacher — analysing the data, talking to students, and rebuilding the system around them. Recorded lectures, short quizzes, mastery tutorials, real case studies. Lightweight structure, applied consistently.
Pass rates rose from 12% to 71%. And a principle emerged that has shaped every Opengro engagement since:
